About the soap
What is 2-nonenal?
It is a compound your skin makes as you get older. When the oils in your skin break down, they create it. It has a faint musty smell. Most people notice it on pillowcases, collars, and scarves. It is not a sign of poor hygiene. It is just how skin changes with age.
Why will my regular soap not fix it?
2-nonenal is oil-based. Most soaps and body washes are built to wash off sweat and dirt, which are water-based. They slide right past it. Deodorant and body spray only cover the smell for a little while.
How does persimmon help?
Persimmon is rich in natural tannins. Tannins bind to odor molecules and neutralize them. That means the smell is dealt with, not perfumed over.
How fast will I notice a difference?
Many people notice a change after the first few washes. Give it a full 30 days for the best result, since it takes time to clear built-up odor from skin and hair.
How should I use it?
Use it in the shower like any bar soap. Work up a good lather and pay extra attention to the spots where odor collects most: the back of your neck, behind your ears, your chest, your upper back, and your scalp line. Let the lather sit for about 30 seconds, then rinse.
How long does one bar last?
About four weeks with daily use. A soap dish that drains will make it last longer. Do not leave the bar sitting in standing water.
Will it dry out my skin?
It should not. We made it for mature skin, which is often drier. There are no harsh sulfates in it.
What does it smell like?
Very little. That is on purpose. We are not trying to cover one smell with another.
Can I use it on my face?
Yes, most people can. Facial skin is more sensitive, so try it on your body first. Keep it out of your eyes. If your skin gets red or irritated, stop using it.
Is it safe for sensitive skin?
It is made to be gentle. Still, everyone is different. If you have a skin condition or known allergies, check the ingredient list first or ask your doctor.
Can men use it?
Yes. This change in body chemistry happens to everyone as they age. The bar works the same either way.
Do I still need deodorant?
You can keep using it if you like. Underarm sweat smell and aging odor are two different things. Many people use both.

How much is shipping?
Shipping in the United States is a flat $4.99 on any order, big or small. For other countries, you will see the cost at checkout.
When will my order arrive?
We pack orders within 1 to 2 business days. Delivery usually takes 5 to 10 business days after that.
Will I get tracking?
Yes. We email you a tracking number as soon as your order ships. Check your spam folder if you do not see it.
Do you ship outside the United States?
Yes, to many countries. Delivery takes longer and you may owe customs fees to your own country. See our Shipping Policy for details.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Email us within 12 hours of ordering and we will do our best. After that it may already be packed. See our Cancellation and Refund Policy.
Returns and guarantee
What if it does not work for me?
You have 60 days from delivery. If you do not feel fresher, email us and we will refund you. You can even have used the bar.
How do I start a return?
